Allard USA Announces the Sale of SmartFAB: A Strategic Move to Enhance Focus on Core Business Operations

Allard USA, the leading provider of carbon composite AFOs in the O&P market, today announced the successful divestiture of its subsidiary, SmartFAB, to Bionic Prosthetics & Orthotics, effective immediately. This strategic decision aligns with Allard USA's commitment to streamline operations and enhance focus on its core business areas.

SmartFAB, known for fabrication services for the Allard COMBO Hyperextension Knee Orthosis, Partial Foot Orthoses for Allard AFOs, and the MultiMotion Contracture Management orthoses, has been an integral part of Allard USA’s portfolio since 2023. The sale represents a significant step in Allard USA’s strategy to concentrate resources on its primary business units, driving innovation and growth in key markets for Orthotics and Prosthetics and in particular the new prosthetic foot Meracus®.
