As the Dralla Foundation proudly celebrates its 15th anniversary, we are honored to announce our 2026 grant recipients. This milestone year marks our largest slate of funded events to date, each designed to create Unforgettable Days for individuals with physical challenges. We are inspired by the dedication of our partners and excited to support programs that encourage joy, empowerment, and meaningful shared experiences.

BORP Adaptive Sports and Recreation - Rising Tides: Youth Leadership Accessible Kayaking

We are pleased to continue our longstanding support of BORP as they deliver an accessible kayaking experience for youth. Known for exceptional programming and impactful leadership development, BORP consistently creates memorable outdoor adventures for children and teens. This year’s event promises to be a truly unforgettable day on the water.

Jefferson County Public Education Foundation (JCPEF) - King of the Bluegrass Wheelchair Basketball Tournament

We are proud to fund two Unforgettable Days at this celebrated wheelchair basketball event. With professional photography and videography capturing the action, these tournament days will not only empower athletes but also provide inspiring content for our broader community. The spirit of competition, teamwork, and resilience will be on full display.

Joshua’s House Foundation – Thrive Youth 

Two Youth Camps Featuring Dralla Unforgettable Days
We are excited to support two adaptive youth camps, each featuring a dedicated “Dralla Unforgettable Day.” These experiences will include equine-assisted ranch activities and fully accessible pool programming—combining adventure, confidence-building, and summer fun for mobility challenged youth. Horses and pools in the sunshine are sure to create remarkable moments for participants and families.

A Day at the Races - Experiencing Engineering, Physics, and Speed

This innovative program will introduce youth to engineering principles and real-life physics through the exhilarating experience of racecar speed. The activity is expected to come to life solely because of Dralla’s support, making it a uniquely meaningful investment. Its blend of excitement and education embodies the spirit of creating extraordinary, memorable opportunities.

Paws and Hearts Pet Therapy Farm, Inc. - Animals on Wheels: An Unforgettable Day of Adaptive Fun

We are delighted to help provide a fully accessible animal interaction experience for mobility challenged children. Petting zoos and farms are often difficult to access, but this event brings gentle therapy animals directly to the kids in a safe, adaptive environment. It promises to be a day filled with joy, connection, and heartwarming moments.

Catalyst Sports – Paraclimbing Competition 

This year marks the final event of Catalyst Sports’ three year Dralla supported Paraclimbing Competition initiative. We look forward to witnessing the continued growth, courage, and athletic achievement of the athletes as this multi year program concludes.
