Approved for 3(S) CEUs for ABC/BOC Certified Orthotists, Assistants, and Technicians..

Allard "prefabricated" AFOs are approved as L1932 "custom-fitted" orthoses.  Although they are "prefabricated," to abide by the code and provide optimum functional results and assure product integrity, customization to meet individual patient needs is required.  This course details how to assess patient deficits and anatomical needs to determine and fabricate the modifications required to address those needs.
